The Global Network for Blood Donation aims to develop a worldwide network of Rotary Clubs, Rotary Districts and individual Rotarians, Rotaractors and friends with a common interest in promoting voluntary blood donation. If the estimation is correct, blood donor projects within Rotary International save or improve the lives of more than two million people annually. |

Rotarians Eliminating Malaria
The ultimate goal is to eliminate malaria from the face of the earth. The intermediate goal is to reduce malaria morbidity and mortality in each country quickly and efficiently through provision of goods, education and other interventions that lower malaria, thus to set the stage for rapid dissemination of the eventual malaria vaccine. |
